CHAOS, a math movie with nine 13-minute chapters. It is a film about dynamical systems, the butterfly effect and chaos theory, intended for a wide audience.

About Professor Siu Man Keung
He received his BSc degree (double major in mathematics and physics) from HKU and a PhD in mathematics from Columbia University. He taught for three years in the United States, then he taught and conducted research in Hong Kong until his retirement in 2005.
Professor Siu has published research papers in mathematics and computer science, in history of mathematics and mathematics education, and several books in popularizing mathematics. In particular, he is most interested in integrating history of mathematics with the learning and teaching of mathematics, and has actively participated in an international community of History and Pedagogy of Mathematics since the mid-1980s.
Prof. Siu has extended his study to the role of mathematics in other areas of human endeavor. In particular, from 2006 to 2011 he collaborated with HKU colleagues in physics to conduct a workshop each year for school pupils, titled Harmonies in Nature: A Dialogue Between Mathematics and Physics.
