During a ceremony attended by more than fifty people, government officials of Hong Kong or members of the Hong Kong-France Business Partnership, the Consul General of France Jean-Pierre Thébault bestowed upon David Lie, Chairman of the Hong Kong-France Business Partnership, as Officer of the National Order of Merit in recognition of his outstanding role in Hong Kong society.
The bestowal of David Lie is a gesture of thanks and recognition from France of the work done by Mr. Lie in the bilateral commercial development, making the Partnership an excellent bilateral business forum.
