The Invest in France Agency (IFA)


The IFA office in Hong Kong (hongkong@investinfrance.org) covers the area of Hong Kong and Southern China.

IFA Hong Kong is one of the 27 IFN (www.investinfrance.org) international offices around the world (half merged with the local French Trade Commissions), in charge especially of promoting and developing foreign investment in France.

In order to achieve this goal, IFA Hong Kong is offering assistance and support through free of charge consultation to foreign companies looking for the best location site, the suitable partner as well as further business expansion in Europe at large and in France in particular.

The French Technology Press Office (FTPO)


The FTPO in Hong Kong belongs to a network of 13 press offices set up by the French Agency For International Business Development (UBIFRANCE), a non profit governmental organisation (www.ubifrance.com).

Appointed as senior press officer of FTPO, Madam Lily YUI (lily.yui@ubifrance.fr) undertakes press relation services both in Chinese and English, aiming at raising awareness of the French companies and their technological innovations throughout Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.



Promosalons


Promosalons is a professional marketing organization dedicated to the promotion of international trade exhibitions on behalf of French trade show organizers. Through its network of representatives in more than 60 countries, it ensures local representation of major French trade shows taking place in France and abroad. Promosalons is under the authority of the centralized delegation, PROMOSALONS PARIS, which acts as a focal point for the international network of country offices or delegations, offering the best possible results.

For Hong Kong, the representative office was set up in 1980, covering also Canton and South China region. Its mission is to offer local expertise through media campaigns, direct marketing, as well as other communication and public relations activities; aiming at developing and optimizing international business strategies.

The SOPEXA Hong Kong Office


SOPEXA, the National Marketing and Promotion Board for French food and beverage products, a professional organisation with 41 representation offices throughout the world assists French firms in the promotional and development strategies of their products. SOPEXA designs marketing strategies and carries out collective communication campaigns for companies wishing to increase the renown of French food products and brands abroad.

In Hong Kong, the office of SOPEXA is working with key parties involved with French F&B products - the producers, importers, distributors, retailers and consumers. This office builds up the international image and awareness of French products in the Territory by initiating and co-ordinating successful promotional campaigns through combinations of marketing consultancy, advertising, in-store retail promotions, joint promotions with F&B outlets, public relations and publicity.

The French Government Tourist Office: Maison de la France


Maison de la France is the official tourist bureau of the French government. Represented in 28 countries world-wide, Maison de la France co-ordinates promotional programs and activities such as inward missions by trade and media delegations, seminars, workshops and participation in international and local travel exhibitions.

The office in Hong Kong opened in November 1999 headed by Madam Yolanda CHAN, Manager, now covers Hong Kong and South China whereas an office placed under the authority of Mr Jean-Michel HARZIC, Regional Manager, has been created in Beijing and co-ordinates the activities of the Hong Kong, Beijing and Taiwan offices.
