Research program ANR-RGC

Signed in 2012, the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherché, ANR) and the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong Joint Research Scheme (JRS) aims to strengthen the collaboration between French and Hong Kong research communities in areas of mutual interest to be jointly identified in order to achieve world-class scientific and technical results, leading towards new knowledge. Balanced scientific contribution is envisioned between French and Hong Kong collaborators.

Applying projects have to be jointly presented by French and Hong Kong research teams to the ANR and to the RGC General Research Fund (GRF).

The total number of projects funded will depend on the relative quality of the submitted projects.

Mobility Scheme

"Partenariat Hubert Curien"

Established in 1998 in Partnership with the Research Grants Council, the Procore programme finances a dozen of two-year joint research projects and worskops in France and Hong Kong each year.

BIO-Asie and STIC-Asie

Regional programmes BIO-Asie and STIC-Asie are initiatives of the French government which aim to encourage and strengthen high-level collaborations in research and development in the fields of:

  • Information and Communications Technology;
  • Natural substances, from the study of biodiversity to the sustainable use of natural substances in the field of health, pharmacy, nutrition, cosmetics, agronomy or renewable energies.
