Predeparture session December 2015 [fr]
A pre-departure session was organized on 10 December in order to prepare students departing to France the coming semester. In order to facilitate the settling down of the students in Hong Kong and Macao who are heading to France soon, the Consulate General of France organizes twice a year a pre-departure session.
More than 30 students joined the last edition of 2015 on 10 December where they prepared themselves for their departure.
The event started with a general presentation on France as well as its higher education system by Ms. Lavender Cheung, Head of Campus France in Hong Kong. Ms. Gwennoline Schwartz then continued with a recall of the visa application procedures. Thanks to the presentation of Ms Yolanda Chan, representative of Atout France, and Mr. Michael Li, Sales Director of Global Trading, the students were then exposed to the French landscape and tourism sites. Last but not least, Ms. Johanne Théfaine, Head of Study of Alliance Française in Hong Kong, presented the possibilities of learning French in France and after their return. The session ended with the friendly discussion among the departing students and the attending alumni.
