Scholarship awarding ceremony 2016 [fr]
The awarding ceremony of the scholarships « Alexandre Yersin » and « Studialis » took place on the 30th of May, 2016 at Residence of France in Hong Kong.
The awarding ceremony of the scholarships « Alexandre Yersin » and « Studialis » was organised on the 30th of June in the presence of Mr. Eric Berti , Consul general of France in Hong Kong and Macau, Madame Anne Denis-Blanchardon , Consul(Culture, Education & Science) of the Consulate general of France in Hong Kong and Macau and 7 scholarship awardees at Residence of France in Hong Kong.
During the ceremony, officiated by Mr. Eric Berti , the awardees of the scholarships “Alexandre Yersin” and “Studialis” received officially “their tickets” for studying in France. *
In 2016, among around 40 candidates with excellent profile, 7 students were selected to obtain the scholarship “Alexandre Yersin” and one for the scholarship “Studialis”. 7 of them attended the ceremony:
Mr Ellis CHAN (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study animation at Ecole de l’image GOBELINS
Ms CHAN Yuen Ching Catherine (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study French as a Foreign Language at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3
Ms Lavender CHEUNG (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study communication at IÉSEG School of Management
Mr CHUI Tsz Fung Clinton (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study engineering at Polytech Annecy-Chambéry Université Savoie Mont Blanc
Ms NG Ka Hei Cathy (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study management at IÉSEG School of Management
Mr TAM Ka Lok Vincent (Alexandre Yersin Scholarship) who will study mathematics at Université Clermont-Ferrand-II
Ms HO Kuai San Canny (Studialis) who will study Art and Luxury Management : The French Touch at IESA

It is worth noting that this year the awardees are interested in various domain of study, such as International relations, Mathematics, Communication, Luxury Management and French as a foreign language.
Before their departure to France, Alliance Française de Hong Kong (http://www.alliancefrancaise.org.hk/) offers them a course in order to improve their French language.
These scholarships of excellence help promote the French higher education. The awardees will be “Ambassadors” of France and the best representatives of the French higher education in Hong Kong and Macau.
The local partners, including local universities, Alliance Française de Hong Kong, French Alumni association participate in the promotion of the scholarship programmes of the Consulate so that the wider public can be reached. These partners attended the ceremony and celebrate together with the students.
A reception after the ceremony was held for the students, members of jury and the partners to discuss studies in France. They were invited to taste the French Wine sponsored by EaSiness Wine (http://www.easinesswine.com/our-wines.html) and the French pastries by A la Bakery (http://www.alabakery.com/) and Maison Eric Kayser(http://www.maison-kayser.com.hk/ ).
