Ticket Sales of Hong Kong International Film Festival 2016 starts on 26 Feb [fr]

The Hong Kong International Film Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary and organises more than 50 screenings of French films this year!

During the 1st Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) in 1977, 30 films from 15 different countries, including 4 French films (two films by Truffaut, one by Varda and one by Eustache)

This year, the festival places emphasis on French cinema with a selection of 26 French films (Ten of them are coproductions), including 21 Nights with Pattie by Larrieu brothers, The White Knights by Joachim Lafosse and All three of us by the famous humorist Kheiron. The French actress Sophie Marceau will present her new film Jailbirds on 22 March. The director Julien Seri and his producer Raphael Cohen will also present their lastest work Night Fare , which is a very expected thriller, on 1 and 3 April.

Besides, the 40th HKIFF pays tribute to the works of the Hong Kong director Wong Kar Wai.
