The Department of Linguistics & Modern Languages and The Office of Student Affairs of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) organized the French Cultural Festival on 2nd & 3rd October 2007.

This event presented the essence of France with a great variety of programs like a series of creative art workshops, talks on study in France and career development in HK-based French Companies, performance of French classical music and "Eiffel Tower" on stilts, wine tasting and buffet.
CampusFrance office of the Consulate General and the French Chamber of Commerce participated in this event.

"Study in France" Seminar
Seminar by Mr. P. Prashanth (Head of CampusFrance Hong Kong, Consulate General). Students were informed about the French Higher Education system, cost of living, accommodation, scholarships, visa requirements etc.



3rd October 2007
"Forum des métiers" - Careers Talk
Talk of Ms. Pascale Dutronc (General Manager of the French Chambre of Commerce) about French business in Hong Kong
Talk of representatives of French companies of 3 different fields - Luxury, Engineering & Finance

Besides the above mentioned events, several other activities were organized like creative art workships (Drawing, Writing, Designing and Cooking), French music performance, Wine tasting, French buffet.
