The Study Abroad Fair is an annual school event co-organized with exchange students. This year, it was held on 13th November, 2008 in the Sun Yat- sen Plaza, also named as the ‘Happy Park’ by students of HKU.
The purpose of the Fair was to attract more HKU students to join in a variety of exchange programmes & to provide students from different backgrounds a good opportunity to work together.

This year, over 80 exchange students from 20 different countries participated. 14 booths was set up and decorated in their self-designed themes and styles.
Students also dressed in their national costumes. They shared their lives and experiences gained from their home institutions.
They also provided information on their traditional festivals, cultures, religions and music.

Apart from the booth fair, students also staged public performances which included singing, dancing and live band shows.
France was represented by the French exchange students at HKU (mentioned below), they will promote the French Higher Education system with the help of the promotional materials (brochures, catalogues, souvenirs etc.) provided by the CampusFrance Office of the French Consulate General.
