The Research Grants Council organize a serie of conferences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Yasumoto International Academic Park) on Saturday 9th December 2017
The Theme-based Research Scheme (TRS) is one of the prominent research funding schemes administrated by the Research Grants Council (RGC) with the objective to focus academic research effort of the University Grants Council (UGC)-funded universities on theme of strategic importance to the long-term development of Hong Kong.
The Symposium aims to communicate and share the achievements of the TRS projects among the research community and other stakeholders. This year, the Chinese University oh Hong Kong (CUHK) has been selected to coordinate the event on behalf of the RGC, with fullest support from the collaborating universities, viz. the Hong Kong University (HKU) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The symposium will cover 14 projects funded by the TRS from its first to Thirds Rounds encompassing topics in Health, Environment and Business.
